To get good photos, it’s often important to chase nice light. Dynamic, interesting light can transform a space, and that’s exactly what happened here: the soft wintertime light and beautiful historic office made for a magical environment the morning we shot these branding photos.

Brumberg Wall, PLC is a law office on Main Street in Radford, Virginia. They reached out to our team needing updated images of their staff and branding photos for their website. We’re well-versed in this sort of work and have some simple guidelines to make things go smoothly:

  • Tell your story with supplemental images. “Branding” photography means a lot more than staff headshots. Fortunately, John and his team knew this going in and were excited to work with us.
  • Plan a backup date. Even if we’re inside, we schedule a shoot date and a backup “rain” date. You never know what might come up.
  • Keep it honest. We’ll make things look great, but we don’t want to fully transform a space just for photos. When your customers see these images, it should prepare them to walk in the door and know what to expect.

Versatile photography for many purposes

Whenever we do branding photos, we want them to be useful for many years to come. When John asked about black-and-white versions for their website, we were happy to oblige.

We worked alongside their existing website team to determine a shot list and deliver the images they identified. Whether you need a new website or have an existing agreement in place, we’re happy to work with you.
